Speaker of the House no more

It’s a bit surrealistic, isn’t it? Nancy Pelosi is Speaker of the House no more. After finally surrendering her coveted gavel and stepping down from Democrat Party leadership, the TDS-riddled Speaker becomes just another member of Congress for at least one more term.

In her final letter as Speaker before the Republican majority is sworn in, Pelosi showered her Democrat colleagues with the kind of delusional praise and hyperbolic nonsense we’ve come to expect from the hyperpartisan Californian.

Dear Democratic Colleague,

Today, I write to you my last Dear Colleague as Speaker of the House to express my appreciation for the high honor bestowed upon me by House Democrats. I am humbled by the faith placed in me to serve as Speaker.

One final thought that I wanted to leave with you is my belief that the House Democratic Caucus is the greatest collection of intellect, integrity, and imagination assembled for the good of the American people.

There are a lot of descriptors I’d use for the likes of Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Hakeem Jeffries, Pramila Jayapal, Maxine Waters, et al., but “intellect, integrity, and imagination” aren’t among them. From Pelosi melodramatically tearing in half her copy of a Trump State of the Union speech, to two politically motivated impeachments of Trump and her silly January 6 Committee show trial, “integrity” is the last word I’d used to define the most divisive House Speaker in recent memory.
